Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established in memory of Dr. Carl Harter, associate dean of the College of Letters and Sciences, who died March 31, 1992. This scholarship is for support of students majoring in anthropology or sociology. Recipients must have a GPA of at least 3.25 and have made important contributions to the academic environment of the department. GPA will only be a qualifying factor; it will not be considered in the final deliberation. The recipient(s) will be selected by the head of the department of anthropology and sociology.
