I am currently a master’s student in Dr. Roshna Wunderlich’s Animal Movement Lab, where I investigate the biomechanics of bipedal locomotion in humans. Specifically, my research is primarily focused on elucidating the role of intrinsic foot muscles (IFM) in modulating the relative position of foot structures when walking on cross-sloped, uniform, and non-uniform substrates. I also have clinical interests regarding age related muscle degeneration, where I evaluate the efficacy of various IFM strengthening programs aiming to increase balance and reduce fall incidence in older populations.
