The minor in Classical Studies introduces students to the historical, philosophical and artistic world of ancient Greece, Rome, Byzantium and other cultures of the Mediterranean. Thanks to an interdisciplinary approach, students will explore the two-thousand-year history of these civilisations. They will reflect on the meaning of the classical past for the cultures that they interacted with and those who defined themselves against them. The requirement for the minor in Classics is 18 credit hours.
