The Program & Student Development Coordinator works with student employees and student leaders to ensure that the Alternative Break Program and additional programming throughout the school year provide high-quality, mutually beneficial experiences for student participants and community partners.

Bio:

Gail grew up in New Hampshire but now calls Virginia home after moving to the valley for a teaching position in 2014. Prior to joining JMU in 2025, Gail's professional experience includes classroom teaching, event management, and work in higher education. In her free time, Gail enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, cooking, hiking, playing soccer, snowboarding, and making sure her dog, Shadow, lives her best life.
