On behalf of the ARROW Project, the JMU Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, and several programs housed within JMU's Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services (IIHHS), we are pleased to share with you our updated, virtual Comprehensive Directory of Mental Health Services (CDMHS).
The directory is organized around three categories:
- Quick Reference
- Basic Needs/Crisis/Non-Profit
- Hotline and Support Services
The CDMHS is intended to be a living document for providers and potential clients who are seeking referrals and services in and around Central Virginia and the Valley. Providers may also upload their information by clicking on the link at the top of the document, so please share widely, and feel free to add practitioners, offices, and services. We will attempt to add or edit the document as soon as possible after suggestions have been received.
We know that many practitioners and organizations have worked hard to create similar directories, so our hope is that these resources can ultimately be integrated for ease of use and to enhance support for potential clients.
If you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact Renee Staton at statonar@jmu.edu. We sincerely hope this resource will continue to stay relevant and evolve as we receive information and suggestions from our community members.
