About INAP
The JMU Integrative Nutrition and Physiology (INAP) Lab is an interprofessional and interdisciplinary research space jointly operated by the Departments of Health Professions and Kinesiology focused on exploring how nutrition and physical activity contribute to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. Spanning over 1,800 square feet, the lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, private assessment and counseling rooms, and dedicated instructional and presentation areas. The INAP Lab offers rich research and educational opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students, fostering hands-on experience in the dynamic fields of nutrition and physiology.
