Apply to the Graduate School
Step one: involves applying directly to the JMU Graduate School and providing all information requested.
Who needs to complete this step?
All applicants must complete this step.
Before you apply, you will need the following to complete this step:
- Copies of unofficial transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you attended. This includes the college or university you graduated from (or will graduate from) AND any college or university where you completed coursework.
- Payment for JMU Graduate School application fee or a JMU Graduate School fee waiver. Use this link to learn more about or to apply for a graduate application fee waiver if needed.
- International applicants should check with the Graduate School to learn about additional requirements.
How to complete this step:
- First, go to the JMU Graduate School website.
- Next, create a JMU Graduate School application, to open, hit the “Apply Now!” button.
- Then enter all of the required information and pay the application fee to the JMU Graduate School. Review your application carefully to ensure you entered all required information.
- Next, download a copy of your JMU Graduate School application and save it as a PDF file. You will need to upload a copy of this when you apply to OTCAS in Step 2.
- Finally, remember to submit your application!
Other Information:
You will need to submit additional information with OT CAS and directly with James Madison University’s Master of Occupational Therapy Program in future steps. Do not submit these documents in your application to the JMU Graduate School.
