If you want to earn credit without participating in an experiment, you may complete the following assignment.

Several psychological research articles will become available online by the third week of the semester. To complete this assignment you will:

• Open the PSYC Alternative Activity website and select an article for either PSYC 101 or PSYC 160.  
  (If you are using a computer on campus at JMU, you can access the article without passwords or extra steps.  However, if you connect to the Internet from off-campus, you must authenticate using your active JMU eID and password.  Tutorial on connecting to JMU library resources from off campus)
• Read the article.
• Complete the quiz on the article you selected.

To receive one unit of credit, read one article and then pass the quiz that corresponds to that article. Please allow 10 days for grading. If you pass your quiz, credit for the quiz will appear in the JMU Psychology Research Participation website.
