The CISE Faculty Council represents the interests of faculty members in the College of Integrated Science and Engineering. The Faculty Handbook defines the Council's specific responsibilities, including curriculum oversight and hearing faculty appeals. The Council also advises the CISE Dean and participates in matters of planning, budget, and policy for the college.
The Council's standing subordinate committees include the CISE Curriculum & Instruction Committee (C&I) and the CISE Faculty Leaves, Awards, and Grants Committee (FLAG). The Council may create other ad hoc committees as needed.
The Council includes seven members, two from each academic unit and one at-large.

Council members meet with their academic unit peers through regular unit faculty meetings, and the Council meets with the faculty as a whole in periodic college faculty meetings. Faculty members are also welcome to contact members directly with any questions.
