Class of 2025

Jack always knew he wanted to work in a scientific field, but he thought it would be engineering. He struggled to find a major at first and hadn’t heard about ISAT until his sophomore year. The program allowed him to study various topics, including biology, coding and the environment. “There are so many paths to success in ISAT that it seemed like an easy choice.” Jack became an ISAT ambassador because it meant he could help others discover the major, saving them from the trouble he went through.

Jack is a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He loves to play basketball and workout but enjoys a good night out with friends.

How is ISAT preparing you for your future?

“ISAT taught me systems thinking through the integration of technology. All of our classes relate to each other which adds an interesting aspect of determining how one skill from a class can help you with another.”

Advice for prospective students

“Trust the professors and don't be scared to speak up; asking questions is the best way to interact with a professor and stay engaged.”
