Experience
Professor MacDonald has over 25 years’ experience developing simulation models as decision support tools for local, state, and federal agencies as well as for numerous business ranging from Boeing to small medical groups.
He has worked on projects that include HIV/AIDS, traffic safety, DWI recidivism, mental health services, fleet maintenance, supply chain management, criminal justice, infant mortality, tobacco use, environmental conservation, and the development of simulation based case studies used in national student competitions.
As a Peace Corps volunteer, he served as a drought relief technical officer in Botswana, Africa.
