Alex is from Newport News, Virginia. His love for writing began in 7th grade when he was voted best student in his English class. He aspires to be a friendly, calm voice that captures the attention of his readers. "WRTC has shaped my view of writing tenfold and taught me the power of using your voice!"

In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and football and watching Anime. Previously, he was a photographer for the Breeze and RhetTech.
