Congratulations on your decision to pursue an MBA. The first step will be to attend an MBA New Student Orientation on campus in Hartman Hall.
Please note: Participation in the MBA orientation is required and is specific to your program. You will also receive emails from The Graduate School inviting you to a general orientation – this is an 'optional' event that you are also welcome to attend.
Save the Date - Fall 2024 Orientation
WHEN: August 17, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Check-in and Breakfast from 8-9 a.m.)
WHERE: Hartman Hall Room 2021 (The Forum), College of Business Learning Complex
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Immediately following orientation, MBA students will launch into their first in-person class with their cohort. New to campus, no problem! The MBA Team will escort your cohort to your first class.

Additional details will be emailed to you from mba@jmu.edu after you have registered for the MBA orientation.
Please contact the MBA office if you may require assistance such as a wheelchair, other mobility aids or interpretation services, in order to fully access and participate in the event. A staff member will then be in contact with you to ensure that you have the assistance you need.
