Melanie has a B.S. with a concentration in organizational development and a M.A.T. in General Education (PK-6) and Special Education (K-12) with a graduate certificate in autism spectrum disorders. She is currently working towards her M.Ed. in educational leadership. Melanie possesses a unique blend of extensive experience, knowledge, and skills in business management and education. She has a vast range of experiences, from managing and operating her family’s business to utilizing best practices to support challenging students as a special education teacher and behavior specialist. Melanie has a true passion for education and helping every child learn and succeed by establishing strong, trustful relationships with all stakeholders. Melanie has effectively taught in general and special education classrooms, working closely with a diverse group of students, teachers, administrators, and families. Melanie enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family.
