LTC Graham Davidson

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Michael “Graham” Davidson has served in numerous Army command and Staff positions in the United States and overseas over the past 16 years. His overseas assignments include a 15 month deployment as a Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division leading over 100 paratroopers in combat during the historic Operation Iraqi Freedom Surge 2007-2008, and a two year deployment to the Republic of South Korea.  

LTC Davidson previously served as an instructor at the United States Military Academy, where he taught character development and the Superintendent’s capstone leadership course. LTC Davidson also served as the executive officer for the 55th Quartermaster General and Commandant of the United States Army Quartermaster School.     

In 2017, LTC Davidson was nominated to an interagency fellowship at the Department of Commerce.  He was the lead advisor to the Secretary of Commerce on several of the President’s priority initiatives, including primary author of the “Buy American, Hire American” report and lead for the Department’s comprehensive review of supply chain obstacles at U.S. seaports.

In July, 2020, LTC Davidson became the Professor for Military Science at James Madison University’s Army ROTC Program. His vision for the Duke Battalion is to continue to build on one of the Country’s premier ROTC programs with a focused mission to recruit, develop, and inspire each Cadet to graduate and become a lifelong leader of character and servant to our great Nation.

LTC Davidson is a published writer and has presented on matters of character development, leadership, and supply chain policy at the local, state, and national level.   

LTC Davidson is married to his college sweetheart, Jessica. They have four children: Emily (10), Hudson (8), William (5), and Eliza (3).
