Ms. Grant began her career as an elementary school teacher in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She later moved to Virginia and taught in both middle and elementary settings. Later in her public education career, she served as an Instructional Support Team facilitator.  This position led to an interest in supporting teachers in their development of effective instructional and classroom management skills. In her current role, she serves as a coordinator with the Virginia Department of Education’s Region 5 Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) located at JMU. In this position, she works to support the TTAC mission to improve educational opportunities and contribute to the success of children and youth with disabilities (birth – 22 years).
