I joined the College of Education in March 2024, where I support admissions, enrollment, and student success for LTLE graduate programs and courses. In addition, I advise all students pursuing graduate certificates and master’s programs in the LTLE Department and teach one course each semester.

As a proud "Triple Duke," I most recently earned my M.Ed. with a concentration in Educational Technology (now Learning Design and Technology) in 2022 from the LTLE Department. With over a decade of experience in higher education, I've contributed to various facets of student success, including roles in Disability Services, Career Services, and Academic Advising. Before transitioning to my current role, I spent five years as an advisor in the College of Business at JMU. During my tenure at JMU, I have been privileged to serve on the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) working group and was a founding member of the Advising Resource and Collaboration (ARC) Network, which fosters community and professional development among advising professionals.

At heart, I am a dedicated higher education administrator. My passion lies in advancing student success and addressing equity gaps in higher education. I'm particularly interested in how educational technology and information systems can enhance advising practices and create more equitable and accessible learning experiences.

I am a military kid who considers New England my home, though I've spent most of my life in Virginia. Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, exploring the local food options, traveling both the US and abroad, and spending time with my cats.
