Professional Experience: 

Susan has taught in local public schools for 24 years. She spent 16 years teaching grades 1-3 at Riverheads Elementary in Augusta County. Prior to that, she taught in Harrisonburg City and Shenandoah County. Susan worked as a clinical faculty member with the Mid-Valley Consortium for many of those years. 

Professional Interests: 

Susan enjoys supporting students to become future teachers. She is continuing her cooperative teacher path in her new position as Field Experience Assistant. Susan has an interest in becoming a university supervisor in the future.
