Professional Experience and Interests:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral
- Taught students grades K-12 with low incidence disabilities, including intellectual disability (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and students with multiple and severe disabilities
- Provided behavior consultation in both general education and special education programs for students with and without disabilities
- Worked as a special education administrator
- Interests include: reading instruction for students with ID/ASD, classroom management and individual behavior management, teacher coaching
Current Research:
- Using curriculum based measurement to measure the basic reading skills of students with ID and ASD
- Using computer-assisted instruction to teach reading skills to students with ID and ASD
- Classroom management strategies
