Ann began her career as a fifth-grade teacher in Conyers, GA. During her 6-year tenure, she transitioned from a teacher focusing on computational procedures to a teacher promoting conceptual understanding in addition to procedural proficiency. She pursued her graduate degrees in an effort to educate pre-service elementary teachers on best mathematical teaching practices, ultimately reaching more elementary children.
