Commencement Expo - 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Atlantic Union Bank Center 

Graduates are invited to attend Commencement Expo as the first opportunity to purchase regalia packages, visit commencement vendors, order rings and announcements, and much more! Graduates do not need to attend both days. GradImages will be present at this event if you would like cap and gown photos or a professional headshot for your resume. 

Senior Dinner at E-Hall - 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. 

Come and celebrate less than 50 days until commencement. Join your fellow seniors at E-Hall featuring all your favorites! FREE to the first 400 graduates. You may start lining up at E-Hall at 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 22nd

Senior Gala - 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Hall of Presidents (third floor, D-Hall)

Enjoy a night of dancing, music, and a meal with your closest senior friends. Cash bar will be provided with a limit of two drinks per guest. Dinner will be provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please specify on the RSVP.

Cap Decorating Event - 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in TDU Clubhouse

Bring your grad cap! Join the senior class in a cap decorating craft event. Craft supplies will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own supplies.

Don't forget to submit your decorated cap into the Cap Decorating Contest! The winner is awarded a $100 JMU Bookstore Gift Card.

Friday, April 21st

Senior Candle Lighting and Toast - 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Festival Lawn (rain location: Festival Lower Drum)

Join the JMU Alumni Association on Festival Lawn to take part in JMU's oldest Madison Tradition, Senior Candle Lighting and Toast. During the event, members from the Class of 2023 will be officially inducted into the JMU Alumni Association during a brief candle lighting and pinning ceremony. Following the program, we will welcome the newest members of the Alumni family with a champagne toast.

Thursday, April 27st

Senior Day Downtown - 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Court Square, Harrisonburg 

Get special discounts at your favorite stores and restaurants located in Downtown Harrisonburg. You must stop by the registration table to obtain a special armband to display downtown.

Senior Sunset - 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Festival Lawn (weather permitting)

Watch the sunset one last time on campus! Join us at Festival Lawn for pizza, conversation, and to watch the sunset together as a graduating class.

Grad Bash - 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Atlantic Union Bank Center
