Darci A. Hendrickson has been an adjunct instructor for the School of Communication since Spring 2013, and has been teaching in the field of Communication since 2008 after receiving her Masters in Communication Studies (concentrations in Speech and Interpersonal/Organizational Communication) from Liberty University. She teaches the Fundamental Human Communication/Group Presentations (SCOM 123) course where she is passionate about enhancing students’ knowledge about communication, helping them overcome their fears of public speaking, and teaching them how to develop their presentational skills for their future real-world workplace environment. She is also a limited partner with the investment firm Edward Jones, where she is currently a part time Office Administrator and occasional speaker for their regional events. She enjoys being an adjunct during this time in her life as she considers being a wife and mother her full-time job.
