Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established with a gift from Robert J. Daly '82 to create the Robert J. Daly '82 Scholarship Endowment for Hospitality & Tourism Management, which will provide financial resources annually to one or more students (up to a maximum of four students at any one time) entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must
- have a declared major in Hospitality & Tourism Management;
- have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) after at least four semesters of study (at the time the student is considered for this scholarship); and,
- demonstrate a need for financial assistance, as determined by the University's Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
The selection of Robert J. Daly '82 Scholars shall be made in a manner determined at the discretion of the program director for Hospitality & Tourism Management in the College of Business. Beyond the above criteria, the appointment of a student to receive this scholarship shall follow the University's guidelines for the awarding of scholarships. When a student is appointed a Robert J. Daly '82 Scholar for the student's junior year of undergraduate study, the scholarship may be renewed for the student's senior year of study, provided that the student remains a full-time student in good standing with the University.

This scholarship specifies a “need component”. To be eligible you MUST HAVE A CURRENT FAFSA on-file with the James Madison University Office of Financial Aid.
