Adjudication Processes
Upon completion of the formal complaint investigation the Title IX Office transfers the investigative report, all evidence collected and submitted, and all responses submitted to the university entity responsible for coordinating the adjudication process to determine the outcome.
The adjudication process that is used to reach an outcome in a formal complaint of sexual misconduct or Title IX sexual harassment depends on whether the allegation(s) that are the focus of the complaint fall under Policy 1340 or Policy 1346 and whether the respondent is a student, staff member, or faculty member.
When the allegations that are the focus of the formal complaint fall under Policy 1340 and Policy 1346, Policy 1346 will govern. Refer to Policy 1340 Application of Policy 1340 and Policy 1346 for more information.

… the allegations that are the focus of the complaint fall under Policy 1346 then Human Resources will use the Adjudication Process for Classified, Wage, A&P Faculty without Tenure, and Affiliates.
