Departmental Student Awards
Our department offers a variety of awards for graduating students. Awards are given during a ceremony with students and their families at the end of the school year.
IDLS Mathematics Future Teacher Award
This award recognizes outstanding accomplishment in mathematics by a graduating senior in IDLS who is preparing for a career in teaching at the elementary or middle grade level.
Secondary Mathematics Future Teacher Award
This award recognizes outstanding accomplishment by a senior mathematics major who is completing a minor in education and preparing for a career in pre-college teaching.
Mathematics Research Award
This award recognizes research accomplishments in the mathematical sciences.
Amy Vess Crizer Award
This award recognizes a graduating senior for accomplishment across the spectrum of academic ability, work ethic, attitude, quality of character, and outreach.
Mathematics Major Award
This award recognizes a graduating senior for accomplishment within the mathematics major.
Statistics Major Award
This award recognizes a graduating senior for exceptional accomplishment within the statistics major.
Ikenberry Award
This award is presented to an outstanding graduating senior in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
