- Please present a second work in English (can be art song, aria, musical theatre, or standard)
The Day of your Audition
Please plan to:
- Arrive early
- Dress up! Look your best—an audition is always a practice for the next concert, solo, or audition. Your career is now—act the part and bring it!
- Fill out an information form and give it to your door monitor when completed.
- Present one classical piece (any language, art song, or aria)
- Present one work in English (can be art song, aria, musical theatre, or standard)
NOTE: First-year students may opt to sing only one piece if two are not prepared. Do not let the two-song requirement be the barrier from participating in opera this semester.
