New Login Process for Dell Premier
Information Technology-ComputingJMU offers the Dell Premier website to employees to support shopping, quotes, and orders of equipment and other products from Dell. Recently, Dell made some changes to Premier, and in turn, the process that everyone at JMU uses to access the Dell Premier site will soon change. The new process, outlined below, takes effect on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Accessing Premier
Because Dell provides multiple ways to access Premier, and their addresses sometimes change, we recommend you use the following JMU address/link to access Dell Premier:

Existing links on the JMU Procurement and IT websites are also operational and point to the same location. For a brief time, the link above will direct you to a temporary page that includes these sign-in instructions and a link to Dell's sign-in page. Eventually, the address will redirect directly to Dell's sign-in page, pictured below.
Signing Into Premier
On the sign-in screen, enter your full JMU email address (in the form of eID@jmu.edu) and press tab or click elsewhere on the screen (such as in the password field). The password field will disappear, and a notice about Single sign-on will take its place, as pictured below. Click the Continue button.
You will be redirected to JMU’s standard login page, pictured below. Log in with your JMU eID and password.
For most JMU employees, after you authenticate, Premier will show you JMU’s Standard Configurations, just as it always did. Your sign-in is now complete.
If you had an elevated level of access in Dell Premier prior to this change, you may be asked to verify the level of access you wish to use after you sign-in.
