Athletics Ticketing Frequently Asked Questions

JMU Athletics tickets football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball. Tickets are free for all current students. Football requires advance reservation via JMUTickets.com. For men’s and women’s basketball students may swipe their JACard on game day for admission.

Students can start reserving their ticket two weeks before each home game. Log onto JMUTickets.com and select Student Tickets from the menu. All students will need to register their account the first time using the ticketing site. Select Register and enter the student’s nine-digit JACard number to activate the account.

Once the student has logged in they can reserve their free ticket. Students can also purchase student guest tickets to get their friends and family access to the student section. Tickets will be delivered to the student’s mobile device or to be printed at home. Students must show the ticket and their JACard on game day for admittance.

Student tickets must be used by the student who reserved the ticket. Tickets may not be transferred or resold. Reselling of student ticket may result in cancellation of ticket reservation.

Students who reserve a student ticket but do not attend two games will lose free student ticket privileges for the remainder of the season. Tickets can be returned online through their JMUTickets.com My Account page. Tickets can be returned up until four hours prior to kickoff. Student guest tickets cannot be returned. For additional questions please email the Athletic Ticket Office at athletic-ticket@jmu.edu or call (540) 568-3853.

All other sports do not require a ticket, so students and their guests can show up and cheer on the Dukes for free. Students are emailed weekly with information on upcoming games and giveaways. Information can also be found by following JMUSports on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
