Alcohol (Responsible); Hazing (Not Responsible)

Incident(s) Description:
In the course of investigating a report of alleged hazing, it was determined that at an event on 4/18/2024 the following behaviors occurred: unregistered alcohol event; high-risk consumption of alcohol.

Outcome(s):
Disciplinary Probation through Fall 2024, including once-a-month review meetings between a FSL staff member, Phi Mu Headquarters Staff Member, the President and/or designated Executive Team member(s) in attendance. During these meetings, chapter leaders receive additional support on stewarding chapter culture change and maintenance of safe social practices

Alcohol misuse prevention and social safety education to be facilitated by the Phi Mu Headquarters team with 80% chapter attendance/completion - Proof of completion with attendance records to be provided to the FSL team, complete by October 1, 2024

Complete any sanctions Phi Mu headquarters requires of the JMU chapter
