Dr. Robin Anderson
Dr. Anderson is a Professor and the Academic Unit Head for the Department of Graduate Psychology at JMU. In 2001, She became the first graduate from the Assessment and Measurement PhD program at JMU. She previously served as the Associate Director of the Center for Assessment and Research Studies. She has experience with both program and regional accreditation processes. Her primary areas of focus include higher education public policy and engineering education research.
Dr. Katie Busby
Dr. Busby is the Director of Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Planning at the University of Mississippi. She provides strategic direction and leadership for the collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of institutional data and oversees the management of the university-wide strategic planning and institutional effectiveness processes.
Prior to joining Ole Miss Katie was the Assistant Provost for Assessment and Institutional Research at Tulane University. She also served as Director of Student Affairs Assessment and Planning at the University of Alabama and held a similar position at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She began her career in higher education as a member of the mathematics faculty at Baylor University and also served as a student affairs practitioner at James Madison University. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from the University of Mississippi and earned her Ph.D. in Assessment and Measurement at James Madison University. Her research interests include measures of student development and leadership, instrument development, and validity issues. Katie is active in professional associations and currently serves as editor of Research & Practice in Assessment.
