Beth Durrett serves the James Madison University Police Department as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police as well as the budget analyst. She also serves as an administrative contact for the Risk Management department.
Mrs.Durrett joined JMU in 2016 as a part time fiscal technician in the Finance Division in the office of International Accounting. In 2021 she joined the Police Department as a part time Budget Analyst. Mrs. Durrett was then given a full time position in the department in 2022 with the addition of her administrative duties – her current position.
Beth is a 2013 graduate of Colorado Technical University with a degree in Accounting. While originally from the mountains of Colorado, she moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2012 to be closer to her husband’s extended family.
