Arnela Iseric - INTA 2017

What is your current position? 

I am a Senior Research Specialist at Gartner, I research, publish white papers and advise supply chain and quality executives on a range of business topics (e.g., disruptions, change management, customer expectations, future workforce trends). 

How did the International Affairs major prepare you for this? 

My job involves a lot of critical thinking and writing skills, which is exactly what I cultivated from the INTA program. Though the knowledge I learned isn't directly transferable to my day-to-day topics at work, the skills certainly were transferable. To survive in consulting, you need to be adept at communication (written and verbal), understand others' viewpoints, and meet strict deadlines.
