Ciprian Buzilă earned a Ph.D. in History of Art and Architecture from Brown University (RI). They also have a Master’s degree, along with two Bachelor's degrees in Art History and Furniture and Interior Design from Romania. Their professional experience includes working as a specialist at the National Institute for Heritage and as a scientific researcher at the University of Architecture in Bucharest.

Additionally, they were the recipient of a Romanian government architecture fellowship at the Romanian Academy in Rome and a Fulbright Junior Award at the University of Cincinnati (OH) in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.

Ciprian's areas of interest encompass the history and theory of Modern Architecture, Design, and Historic Preservation. In their leisure time, they enjoy painting.
