Scholarship Overview

Established with a gift from the Estate of Betty Moxley Snyder.

Scholarships are intended to benefit students who are in good standing and admitted as a full-time student at James Madison University in a four to five year graduation track. First preference is given to residents of Buena Vista, VA or Rockbridge County, VA. The Director of Scholarships selects a student, preferably an entering freshman, each year. As long as the student maintained good standing with the university, he or she may received this tuition-scholarship each year up to, but not exceeding four years, unless a fifth year is applicable to the degree sought.
