Serving as the Assessment Specialist within Student Affairs, Sarah leads assessment efforts for the division. Her role includes coordinating data analysis of office engagement data and consulting as a part of the implementation of a division-wide curricular approach.

Previously, Sarah served as the Assitant Director for Assessment and Data Managment in the University Career Center at JMU. Before coming to JMU she served as a residence director for 3 years, working in housing and residence life at both Radford University and Appalachian State University.

Sarah received her bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania and her Masters Degree in Student Affairs Administration from Appalachian State University.

Outside of work Sarah enjoys spending time with family, trail running, hiking, and all things water (swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, river tubing etc.).
