About Taylor Down Under (TDU)

Looking for a place to relax between classes? TDU offers a variety of fun activities like pool, foosball, ping pong, and darts. You can also borrow board games to play with friends or grab a coffee from the local favorite, Merge.

The TDU stage is reservable for student organization events, including trivia nights, karaoke, and bingo, which are all open to the public. The Union provides KaraFun as the karaoke platform for stage events. Don’t miss Underground Sound, featuring performances from local bands and artists.

Please note that while the stage can be reserved for events, seating is always open to the public and cannot be guaranteed.

Union Event Services is excited to offer karaoke support through KaraFun for events on TDU Stage. KaraFun provides access to 61,000 songs, all properly licensed for public performances. Our staff will connect the system to the projector in TDU and enable the Remote Control feature, which allows guests to add songs to the queue directly from their phone or device—no app download required, as the feature is browser-based.

A scrolling banner will guide guests on how to add songs and display the upcoming performer and song. Singers can start their performance by pressing the play button on the laptop on stage, where the song queue can also be managed.
