In addition to providing countless hours of entertainment, a myriad of programs in the arts at James Madison University have brought cultural growth to the University and the surrounding community. Student performing groups throughout the years have entertained their fellow students, faculty, staff and local citizens. Music recitals, theatrical productions and art exhibits have enriched the community. The history of the arts is reviewed in this section.
