Academic Advising

Students are assigned an Advisor who will assist with all academic and clinical matters and provide support for each individual student as they matriculate through the Online MS SLP program.  The Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Advisory Council (CAC) help guide practica enrollment and the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Council serves as each graduate student's program committee.  The role of the CAC and SLP Councils is to oversee each student's educational experience at JMU.

The M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology program (online) cohort model provides students with a community of learners working through academic and clinical coursework together. Courses are not offered every year and cannot be taken out of sequence.
