This laboratory supports the development of an innovative technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality, to develop cutting-edge educational activities for healthcare students and professionals. The ultimate aim of the laboratory is to improve patient outcomes and safety across the health professions
The research conducted in the RACE lab concerns itself with assessing the efficacy and efficiency, along with assessment of learning outcomes of various models of clinical education, supervision, and service delivery. Recent investigations explore the use of virtual simulations for interprofessional education and clinical skill training.
