The students and faculty of the JMU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are regularly involved in a wide range of activities aimed at benefitting those beyond our walls. For example, JMU’s three chemistry-focused student organizations (SAACS, NOBCChE, and Alpha Chi Sigma) serve local K-12 students by doing demonstrations both on and off campus.
