About me: Hi, I’m Kenzie! I have been interested in CS ever since I was a kid and took some coding classes in high school. I love meeting new people and connecting with people who are also interested in CS. At JMU I am involved in the Women in Tech club and I am a member of AOE, a sorority that focuses on supporting underrepresented groups in STEM. Outside of school, I love to read, play video games, and go to the beach!

Why I’m at JMU CS: Something that immediately caught my eye about the CS department at JMU is the amount of academic support available to students. Since class sizes are small, it is easy to get individualized attention from your professors. In addition, TA hours gave me a place to get the help I needed and meet more people in the major.
