About Me: Hey all! I’m currently a Junior majoring in computer science (minor in robotics) at JMU. I was born in the beautiful país that is the Dominican Republic. I’m a guy interested in all things tech, including (but not limited to) software, robotics, networks, and AI. In my free time, I like to devote time to mini-projects where I can get the best use of my skills I’ve learned in my courses here.
Why I’m at JMU CS: When I first visited JMU, I was already aware I was going to major in CS; however, it wasn’t until I encountered the tight-knit community at the school that I found myself excited to be attending. People will tell you that computer science is hard, which is true. It’s helped me tremendously to be able to spend nights studying for my courses with a group that wants to see each other succeed.
Ask Me About: Your experiences here! I love to talk to people about their classes, especially when I’ve taken them and can offer tips to people going through them. I’d also love to talk more about the clubs here, as I’ve been able to be a part of a couple of fun groups!
