Dillon chose JMU Engineering because of its emphasis on collaboration and applying real-world experience throughout projects. “The program’s focus on practical, hands-on learning and teamwork perfectly matched my learning style and career goals.”
He is passionate about guiding students in exploring their interests and helping them discover a love for engineering. As an EA, Dillon can fulfill these passions and be a resource for those who need direction and support as they find their path in the field.
Dillon is in the Madison Aerospace Club and the Marching Royal Dukes. He loves to build remote-controlled airplanes, grill and work out in his spare time.
How is JMU Engineering preparing you for your future?
“JMU Engineering has introduced me to valuable skills such as coding and woodworking that were previously unfamiliar to me. Moreover, the program has provided numerous leadership opportunities, allowing me to develop and enhance my abilities as a leader in the field.”

“My biggest piece of advice is to dive into campus life early on. Exploring clubs, events and networking opportunities will help you find your niche and make the most of your time at JMU.”
