Class of 2026
As a JMU Engineering student, Aiden found it easier to pinpoint his future career path. “I wasn't sure what kind of engineer I wanted to be, I only knew what types of things I was interested in. This program allowed me to explore different disciplines without the pressure of making a career-defining decision. Although, the food definitely helped me pick JMU.”
The Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related events in elementary and middle school influenced his decision to become an EA. "I would like to provide other people opportunities to experience STEM.”
Aiden is an active member of Theta Tau. Outside of the classroom, he likes to work out, revive clearance plants, and meal prep.
How is JMU Engineering preparing you for your future?
“JMU Engineering provides me with lots of challenging, hands-on activities with a diverse group of people to work with. This program also helped me develop engineering skills that I didn't even realize were important prior to joining.”
Advice for prospective students:
"If you only search for perfection, you can't showcase your skills. Be open-minded while making your story.”
