Amy Czajkowski joined CISR in January 2023 and is the Senior Manager - Programs managing CISR’s grant funded international programs. Before coming to CISR, she worked in international peacebuilding and development at Catalyst for Peace and Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. She has 20 years of practical experience in in the areas of community-centered approaches to peace and development and trauma healing in post-war recovery contexts. While at Catalyst for Peace, she worked with long-term partner Fambul Tok, a Sierra Leonean organization, to design a post-war reconciliation and development process that grew from the community level to an approach supported by national policy. Amy is an experienced process designer, group facilitator, mediator, trainer and program and event planner. She has taught courses in peacebuilding processes, historical trauma healing and monitoring and evaluation. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, mountain biking with her family and Brittney Spaniel and reading on a porch with a good cup of coffee and chocolate croissant.
