Emily Njoki Irungu Irungu is a Doctoral Assistant at CISR. Emily is a PhD candidate at James Madison University in the School of Strategic Leadership Studies. She previously worked on the finance staff at the United Nations World Tourism Organization in Madrid, Spain. She has an MBA with a concentration in finance from United States International University Africa and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Nairobi University in Kenya. She has a Certified Public Accounting qualification in part I and II. Her research interests incorporate leadership, financial health of nonprofits, social entrepreneurship, and monitoring and evaluation.
