- Associate Professor of Marketing Tim Ozcan has been selected for the Wampler-Longacre Professorship in Marketing at JMU. His appointment will begin on Sept. 1, 2024 and he will serve in this capacity for five years, through the end of the 2028-2029 academic year.
- Janna Parker, associate professor, earned first place for the 2023 Teaching and Learning Publication Award.
- Lecturer and Director of the Center for Professional Sales, Richard Tate, is the 2023 winner of the Dr. Otto C. Brenner Award for Outstanding Teaching.
