College of Business and CISE majors can enhance their degree with a valuable global perspective in the global supply chain management minor. Combining hard technical skills like data driven problem solving and soft skills like business communications and teamwork, you can enrich your on-campus classwork with an opportunity to study abroad in Colombia and work with students from our partner university, Universidad Tecnologica de Bolivar, in Cartagena.

Eligibility
Admission is competitive and limited to a maximum of 30-35 students per academic year. Applicants must fill out an online application, using the link below. Application deadlines are March 15 and Oct 15.
CoB students that are non-BBA majors are not eligible for this minor.
Required Courses
For specific course listings, please refer to the Program of Study in the undergraduate catalog. Elective course topics vary depending on your undergraduate major.
Complete two of the required Global Supply Chain Management Minor courses during a summer study abroad trip to Colombia.
Declaration Process
After receiving a formal acceptance into the program via email, students in good academic standing should submit a declaration of minor request via MyMadison.
Certificate Program
A six-week non-credit certificate program in Supply Chain Analytics is offered during the summer and is open to all current JMU students and graduates. Learn more
