Rebekah joined the Strategic Gifts team in early 2024. Coming from her hometown of Gloucester, VA, she moved to the Shenandoah Valley to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. During her time at SU, she worked in the Advancement and Development Office, participating in projects such as the All-Steinway Initiative, Senior Class Gifts, and Giving Day. After her undergraduate studies, Rebekah taught in Shenandoah County where she specialized in Theater, Rock Band, and Music Recording & Production. While there, she continued her education and graduated from Kansas State University, receiving a Master’s in Education with a concentration in General Music.

In addition, Rebekah enjoys working with community groups focused on arts and culture. As a musician, she has collaborated with various organizations, including The Valley Chorale and several universities throughout the East Coast. She has received honors from the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the U.S. Semper Fidelis Youth Foundation, as well as many teacher associations throughout Virginia.
