Brent Ritter graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Appalachian State University with a Master of Arts in Higher Education. Prior to joining the James Madison University Honors College, Brent served as an academic advisor and instructor at several colleges and universities in North Carolina and Wyoming. He is passionate about the field of higher education and supporting student development. Outside of the classroom, Brent enjoys spending time with his wife, watching and attempting to play sports, hiking, and vegetable gardening.
